New Year’s Commitments

Start a new New Year’s traditional by stopping the usual New Year’s resolution shenanigans, which usually last a day, a week or maybe a month. Take accountability to take care of yourself mentally and physically.

No one should care more about your health and well-being than you, right?

It Really is That Simple

What you spend time thinking out about, directly affects your mental and physical well-being!

It really is that simple:
– You can control your thoughts
– Your thoughts change your blood chemistry
– Your blood chemistry affects your internal organs
– The condition of your organs determine the quality & length of your life

Martial arts has so many facets, that many people are unaware of. Having been around this learning environment for almost 40 years, I realize that there is such a wide spectrum of theories, techniques, methods, etc. that are more vast that what can be covered in one lifetime.

I spend part of almost everyday journaling and graphically representing much of what I have come to understand with the hope that others can gain us much as I have from my teachers, mentors and peers.

Do Nothing or Do Something!

So you might have some chronic pain issues, persistent balance problems (physically and/or mentally) or maybe even a negative outlook of where your life trajectory is going – what do you do?
1) do nothing
2) do nothing, but complain
3) seek medical treatment, followed with medications
4) look in the mirror, dig deep and realize that you are in charge of your own well-being (accountability & self-discipline)
5) take the steps to adjust your lifestyle to improve the root problems of your issues
Every year, a new year comes and goes, while many look for a new resolution but eventually fall back to poor habits. A goal, a path and a teacher can help cultivate the self-discipline that it takes to be happy. For more info, contact 407-234-0119 or http://www.MindAndBodyExercises.com
