Do you know how you will react, if facing danger?

If you have never driven a car, how do you know if you can actually get it moving and then navigate safely?
If you have never had to fix a flat tire, how do you do it when no one is around and you are stuck in the middle of nowhere?
So how does someone defend themselves or their loved ones, if they have never been in a dangerous situation?
Well, you can learn how to ahead of time so you can be prepared. Or wait and figure it out as you go.
Have you every heard “failing to prepare” vs. “prepare to fail”?

Breathing Exercises, Moving Qigong & Tai Chi Fundamentals

Class  of 02-24-2020

– Breathing Exercises

– Moving Qigong

– Tai Chi Fundamentals

I post many video clips and other resource materials to help educate people about these time-proven methods. It is usually pretty difficult to learn this material from videos or books, but for some it is another option. I’d rather people would just come to my classes and learn in person. Either way, you can’t buy your health – you need to earn it by putting in the time, effort, resources and/or sacrifice; or some combination of the former.

My goal is to present an education that brings awareness to these time-proven methods. With an intent to de-mystify and simplify explanations, hopefully more people can come to realize that we are all accountable for our own well-being.

Moving Qigong – opening & filling the 8 extraordinary vessels

Moving Qigong – opening & filling the 8 extraordinary vessels

What if you could perform exercises pretty much anywhere, at anytime and with no special equipment? And those exercises helped to maintain flexibility and strength throughout your whole body? Oh, and maybe even improve some chronic pain issues and relieve mental stress? These are some of those types of exercises.

These exercises strengthen the muscles, bones, organs and nervous system by performing specific joint alignments along with deep and deliberate breathing methods. This breathing helps change the blood chemistry and has a calming effect on the emotions.

A Balanced Life – One Perspective

Mind-Body-spirit-detailed

Often I hear or read about the discussion of the mind, body & spirit connection, or achieving the harmony of all three.
I have been studying, practicing and pursuing this harmony for over 40 years. I have found that this balance doesn’t just come about; it takes time, effort, resources, sacrifice or some combination of these factors.
Mind, body & spiritual well-being don’t recognize the gym, the yoga studio, the spa. Nor the designer workout clothes and gear. It is not about the stuff, the equipment, the place.
It is however, about the individual committing to themselves to be the best version of themselves. The other items are just tools to help with journey along the way.
