Slow Movement with Awareness: Better than Exercise?

Good article about why, tai chi and yoga are such good methods to manage good health and wellness.

Having started at the age of 16, I have a very different perspective than my students whom many are just starting while in their 60’s and older. I live the “tai chi lifestyle” and know the benefits from almost 40 years of practicing and studying martial arts with tai chi and qigong. It is difficult for some people to understand that harder is not necessary better.

I have fixed or managed many personal injuries, such as knee trauma, neck, shoulder, elbow, lower back, headaches and sinus issues. Hard for most to believe, but I am living proof that these methods work, often with extraordinary results.
