Ship Pal Gye – Advanced Qigong Practices

Ship Pal Gye – Filling the 8 Vessels – Advanced Qigong Practices – Seminar at Zen Wellness, Phoenix, AZ 04-2019 , 4-minute overview of the 1-hour instruction

Within Chinese Medicine, the Eight Extraordinary Vessels represent the body’s deepest level of energetic structuring. These Vessels are the first to form in utero, and are carriers of Yuan Qi – the ancestral energy which corresponds to our genetic inheritance. They function as deep reservoirs from which the twelve main energy meridians can be replenished and into which the latter can drain their excesses.

I teach classes, seminars, and private instruction focusing on methods of wellness from Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tai Chi, Qigong, acupressure and exercises from martial arts for fitness and improved health. 407-234-0119

Better Balance with Tai Chi & Qigong

Here are the videos of the 1-hour seminar I gave last week at the Orlando Public Library. The discussion was about how to achieve better balance: physical (vestibular), postural, energetic and emotional – all through knowledge of Tai Chi, Qigong and some Traditional Chinese Medicine principles.

Wind & Water Makes Fire

Wind (BaguaZhang) & Water (Tai Chi) = Fire (Qigong) or in Taoist Inner Alchemy, Kan & Li – an exercise and meditation (sitting, standing and moving exercises) process that promotes the release of mental stress while warming and strengthening the internal organs.  This is a known practice to achieve better health, longevity and cultivation of higher levels of consciousness.

I have spent nearly 38 years learning, practicing and teaching this treasure of time-proven methods. These methods can maintain a high level of fitness, maintain chronic pain issues, and prevent injuries or illnesses. These practices are not religious, but can increase your awareness of yourself on many levels. These practices are not age specific; anyone can benefit from deep breathing, stretching and a multitude of core-strengthening exercises.

I have been composing study guides for the last 10 years, as a way of documenting the vast library of knowledge available through Traditional Chinese Medicine, martial arts (Chinese & Korean) as well as other ancient methods of self-improvement and fitness.
